Giuseppe Muscolo
Born in Genoa on October 13 1958.
He has been practising law for thirty years in the field of civil law, with a specific focus on family law and till 2006 he has contributed to the formation of case law in the area of family joint child custody, which was later codified in reformation of so called "shared custody".
He practises also in the areas of property law, corporate and industrial law, mergers and takeovers, contract law, disputes and arbitration, criminal law, corporate restructuring and insolvency proceedings.
Areas of expertise include also environmental law, transport law, intellectual property rights, legal aspects of new technologies, and criminal law in the specific field of corporate law.
He has published:
• La normativa per la tutela delle acque: i reati di inquinamento (Water rights legislation: crimes of pollution) (1981);
• Il testamento per relationem e le sue implicazioni teorico - pratiche (The per relationem testament and its implications in theory and in practice) (1984).
Adimitted to the Genova Bar 1985. Gratuated at the University of Law, Macerata, summa cum laude, with special mention and recommendation for publication of the thesis.
